I changed my profile picture, but it's still The Phantom and Christine. Homecoming was last night. It was alright, but I missed Callie terribly. I hate her dad. Grrrrrrrr. I hope she doesn't have to go over there anymore. I can't believe Mr. Chambers seriously gave us this homework. If those stupid preps had shut up, we wouldn't have had to turn this in until next Monday.
OMG-I saw Jacob there [Homecoming]. It made my stomache turn. Derek followed me around the entire time. It was weird. I like hanging out with Hunter and Rabbit though.

R-8 BOARD APPROVES DRUG TESTING

The Joplin R-8 School Board decided May 9 that in order to participate in extracurricular activities, students must submit to random drug tests.
A voluntary drug test policy has been in effect for a while for athletes, but the new system is not voluntary and also includes other after-school activitities such as academic teams, cheerleading, and band.
School officials told KODE that they are interested in the students' welfare and by having students take these drug tests they are less likely to take drugs.

LINKIN PARK STAR IN CUSTODY BATTLE

LINKIN PARK frontman CHESTER BENNINGTON is fighting for the custody of his three-year-old son DRAVEN after being filed with divorce papers by his wife.

The rocker's spouse, SAMANTHA, has cited "irreconcilable differences" for the split and is fighting for full custody of the couple's only son.

Bennington has accused his estranged wife of trying to punish him by thwarting his visitation rights, stating, "I have every ability to care and nurture him."
Sources tell US news show CELEBRITY JUSTICE that custody has not yet been resolved, but in the meantime, the couple has agreed not to make any defamatory remarks about each other in front of their child.

The ex-couple have also reportedly drawn up an agreement which forbid either of them from sleeping with another partner, while Draven is in the same house.
