So, here's the thing. I think I've changed my mind. I don't feel like I'm cut out for all this interviewing jazz. I hate people. Why would I want to randomly strike up a conversation with countless numbers of them for stories?
It was a nice idea, but I want to be able to write what I want to write. Therefore, I want to change my major. GASP! To...creative writing.
But I'm going to stick it out with the whole journalism thing for awhile longer. Why if I hate it? Let me tell you, you non-existent person, you!
1) My scholarship. I'm trying to pay the least amount as possible for as long as I can.
2) My internship. It's truly a valuable thing and the experience is still relevant to English majors. Not to mention it will look pretty neat on a resume.
2.5) The Chart will also be experience that I can use.
3) I don't have the balls (another reason why I need a new major) to tell TR that I don't actually like this. I'm just going to tell him when I'm transferring that I'm transferring.
I don't get anywhere near excited when I look at the classes for journalism, but I do when I look at lit and other English classes. I can't wait to move.
